Oxford Advisory Group

Retirement Planning and Wealth Management Firm

Oxford Advisory Group is a private, family-owned retirement planning and wealth management firm headquartered in Orlando, Florida, with a presence in Sarasota, Jacksonville, Tampa, Mount Dora, and South Carolina. The firm operates as an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and focuses on providing structured financial planning to high-net-worth pre-retirees and retirees. Its services include retirement income planning, tax-efficient strategies, estate planning guidance, Social Security maximization, required minimum distribution strategies, and overall wealth planning intended to help clients reduce unnecessary taxes during retirement.

The firm was founded in 2019 by brothers Christopher and Samuel Dixon. Their decision to create the company was shaped by personal family experiences with poor financial and tax advice that resulted in damaging retirement outcomes. Those experiences influenced the firm’s focus on client education and thoughtful tax planning. From the beginning, the firm aimed to help individuals and families better understand financial decisions that can affect retirement stability.

Oxford Advisory Group in Florida has gained recognition for its growth and workplace environment. In 2024, the firm was included on Inc.’s 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, reflecting strong revenue growth between 2021 and 2023. In 2025, the Orlando Business Journal recognized the company as one of Orlando’s Best Places to Work. During the same year, the firm also received Central Florida’s Favorite awards for Best Financial Advisor and Best Wealth Management Firm. In early 2026, Oxford Advisory Group celebrated the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of its expanded office in Mount Dora, Florida.
